T-JTA Secondary Edition Question Booklets

Qualification Level

The reusable T-JTA Secondary Edition Question Booklets are designed for use with T-JTA paper-and-pencil administration. Each booklet provides instructions for taking the T-JTA followed by the 180 T-JTA questions.

The 'Secondary Edition' booklets are applicable for Self testing with adolescents. Can also be used for adults with reading deficiencies, and can be used with Student Sten Profiles and Norms. A direct question format is utilized with a simplified vocabulary. A reading level of fifth grade is assumed. Since the questions are stated in direct format, the T-JTA Secondary Edition Question Booklet is not compatible with Criss-Cross testing.

Question Format

Examples of the Secondary Edition Question format are shown below:

• Are you by nature a forgiving person?
• Do you have a number of hobbies or special interests?
• If you don’t agree with someone can you tell him or her so without making that person angry?
